What if growth looks like rest? Encouragement for moms to embrace stillness and soul-renewal.
Rooted Moms Collective is a space for Biblical womenhood to overflow from a place of rest, strength, and purpose for their motherhood journey — through mentoring, devotionals, and honest connection. It’s time to stay rooted in what matters most.
Simple Days, Sacred Work
In Luke 10:38-42, we read about Martha and Mary, two sisters, that have the privileged opportunity to meet with Jesus. Martha sets about in the busy work of hospitality and service. Mary, clinging onto the every word of Jesus, simply sits at His feet. When Martha asks Jesus to intervene, He simply replies, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed-or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
On our motherhood journey, there are so many things to do. To learn. To worry about. To control. Momma, I see you. I too have fallen into this pitfall of the ‘doing.’ The ‘serving.’ The ‘busy.’
But there is a better way. Really only one way. Rooted Moms Collective is all about learning to set aside the busy for what’s best. A place for encouragement and mentorship for moms who long to walk gently, mother purposely, and live deeply rooted in Christ. This kind of peace and soul renewal will not be taken away as we overflow into our heart and home pondering and remembering the very lessons we learned by sitting at the feet of Jesus.

How can I walk with you
If you’re a mom like me, the days of womanhood can be not only messy and beautiful but long and heavy. Overwhelming and lonely. But you’re not alone. Ephesians 3:16-20 reminds us that ‘out of His glorious riches, we have strength and power overflowing from his Spirit straight into our inner being. With Christ dwelling in our hearts, we can be rooted and established with power, right alongside other believers to grasp just a little bit more how much God loves us, which goes beyond just the knowing and into the full measure of God.’ This passage reminds me that God’s plan goes well beyond self care and instead, touches the soul. Talk about a whole new meaning of soul care. This kind of dwelling in our hearts offers power and strength, and a planting that leaves us deeply rooted, no matter the circumstance, all the while knowing God and His great love all the more. The hidden secret in this verse is the part that talks about learning all of this right alongside each other. You weren’t meant to go at this alone. Not in our souls, or our hearts or even in our everyday. This is perhaps the scariest part of all. Maybe we’re okay with welcoming God into the dark corners of our heart and soul but is it safe to journey alongside fellow sojourners in this Christian walk of womanhood? Just like the Sunday school song of days gone by says, ‘this we know… the Bible tells us so!’
Rooted Moms Collective was created with the desire to walk alongside each other on this motherhood journey, fostering a safe place to rest in His soul care, tend to the pruning and purging required of deep planting and rediscover His strength and power that overflows out of His goodness and love! This is a place where you belong. No, you’re not alone. Come alongside other Rooted moms and let’s grow deep roots together.
